Power Networking
We fully understand that, as a delegate to NHRDN’s 12th National Conference, one of your objectives is to network with other delegates.
In fact, one important measure of how rewarding this Conference is to you may even be the number of quality contacts you made at the Conference and what knowledge you gained from them.
That’s why we are not leaving networking to chance at this conference. We are keen that you generate quality contacts and gain knowledge by meeting the right people.
The Power Networking feature at this Conference enables you to do just that. With this feature, you can:
How it Works – Pre Conference
Registered (and Fully Paid!) delegates will receive a username and password. This will give them privileged access to two lists:
- list of delegates from the same industry e.g. Automobile, ITES etc.,
- list of delegates from any industry but who share the same area of interest in HR e.g. Recruitment, Employee Relations etc,
|
|
The list will provide you the name, company and email id of these other delegates. If you would like to establish contact with some of the other delegates in advance and plan a meeting at the Conference, you an send them an email.
The access is available from November 20th .

How it Works – Post Conference
The Power Networking section of this website will be open till December 15, 2008. After the Conference, you can return to the site either to catch up with someone you missed or to contact someone whose name you remember but didn’t get a business card.
Suggestions
Select 5-7 people to meet at the Conference. It is better to make a few solid contacts rather than to rush past dozens of faces.
Send them a mail, introducing yourself. Remember to mention that you are Delegate to this Conference.
In the mail, you may suggest that you meet up at the
Conference.
If you receive a mail from another delegate, please signal your interest by responding.
Try and keep the email exchange brief. You run the risk of intimidating the recipient if you send or seek too much information. That can come after the meeting at the Conference.
Report Abuse:
Naturally, we believe Delegates will make reasonable and responsible use of this information. Should you find someone making improper use of this facility, please report immediately to support@nhrdnconference2008.com.
